Winner of 2018 BITA “Small Business of the Year” Award

The British Irish Trading Alliance (BITA) is a non-profit organisation that exists to encourage relationship building to generate business through networking, educational and social events held in both Britain and Ireland. BITA promote and strengthen trade between both countries through a friendly, driven and diverse group of like-minded professionals.

The BITA awards are held annually at the Savoy and provide the opportunity to recognise BITA members and shine a spotlight on their achievements. There are 6 categories available.

• Small Business of the year - Small businesses including sole traders who employ fewer than 11 people.
• Growing Business - For companies who can show high growth revenue and profit over the last 12 months.
• Business to Business - Unswerving commitment to business partnerships
• BITA Supporter - Dedication to BITA and our values, working with BITA members
• Young Entrepreneur - Aged up to 35 this trailblazer is coming up with innovative business solutions
• Outstanding contribution to the community - This business or individual will be committed to helping their local communities.

In 2018, at the 2nd annual BITA awards, Work & Wear Direct Ltd were nominated for “Small Business of the Year”!

The awards ceremony was a fabulous night of decadent and unforgettable entertainment, with a “Venetian Masquerade Ball” theme. During the evening the winners were announced with Work & Wear Direct winning “Small Business of the Year.”

We are extremely proud and grateful to belong to such a valuable industry organisation and look forward to continued hard work, support and success throughout 2019.
